Starting to get reptitive

Still only done 20% of the single player and haven't been online much yet. Am I the only one starting to get frustrated at the fact tht you cant go from A - B without getting shot at at every bend in the road. The missions are also pretty similar. Drive to such a place killing everyone on the way, kill someone or blow something up when you get there , then do the same again.
Are there any differernt missions further into the game or should I just play online?

Yep, that's my frustration too. The missions will be the same and you still need to drive all across the map to get to your objective. If you switch a bit between off- and online play, it doesn´t bother me that much.
